Excellent Ona coffee. Appetising menu selection - we had the eggs benny and the omelette. Both were sumptuous and had huge servings so that was extremely satisfying for Saturday brunch. I’d love to try the tiramisu french toast next time! The place can get quite crowded inside, good thing the outdoor patio has been open.
Wonderful, lovely little place. The coffee and the food are great and friendly staff.
Nice cafe with plenty of seating outside in a back area. Service isn't great, waited 15 to place initial order and after trying for another 10 minutes to get staffs attention to order another coffee, went up to the counter inside and ordered there. There was a table with twin girls nearby who were playing and screaming which was really annoying..though not the cafes fault at all. But the layout of the back area is like a sound trap so we couldn't even talk over the noise so had to wait till they left to chat. Would have left only we had finally ordered breakfast. We were able to get a table without waiting. This could have been due to the noise of the 2 kids screaming in the place, 2 sets of people sat down, and then left.
The coffee here is good, but the food and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I ordered the chef's special, a fattoush salad, described on the menu as marinated grilled chicken, cos lettuce, pomegranate, tomato medley, crackers (which I thought might have been their interesting twist on the salad), and the chef’s special fattoush dressing. However, half the bowl was filled with corn chips instead of traditional crackers. When I asked the staff if this was correct, they just shrugged and said, 'crackers, corn chips.' I ended up removing half of them and breaking a few over the salad, hoping to get closer to a typical fattoush. I also noticed they’d forgotten the pomegranate, but when I asked, they did bring a small bowl of it for me to pour on top. Felt like a made my own salad in the end. While the grilled chicken was fresh with a nice marinade, the salad was a disappointment, and the service was rather dismissive. My dad ordered the Reuben sandwich, but it came with overly thick slices of corned beef that made it a bit unappetizing, and the focaccia was burnt and dry. My mum had the avocado toast, and while the toppings were fine, the bread was overcooked. Overall, while the coffee was good, the food quality and service left much to be desired.
Was completely surprised to see how beautiful the new owners have renovated this place! The menu is glorious, food can’t be any fresher or better presented! Every dish is perfect! The outdoor section is very tranquil, clean and perfect to enjoy their amazing food and drinks! They have so many healthy options on the menu too which is refreshing to see!
