The LoKal Cafe Wolli Creek is a cafe where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
We stumbled upon this spot while doing some shopping at an Asian store in Wolli Creek. It’s a modern, warm, and inviting space to be in. We ordered the smashed avo on sourdough and the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon—both dishes ticked all the boxes, with perfectly poached eggs and a creamy hollandaise sauce. The coffee was delicious too.
Had the almond croissant and a long black. Coffee was decent, but the croissant was disappointing - felt old and not worth recommending. Otherwise, a solid enough café option in the area, though nothing particularly standout.
Our daily go-to place to get brunch. I love the Chorizo Taco and I always order it whenever I come there. The only downside is the coffee quality can be a bit inconsistent, depending on the barista who makes the coffee. Still, overall a good experience and worth visiting! The staff is also attentive and friendly.
[Update, Feb 2025] This is our daily go-to spot for coffee. They serve some of the best coffee in Sydney and undoubtedly the best in Wolli Creek. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. They also offer a delightful breakfast menu. I recommend their Middle Eastern Brekky.
I've been a regular at Lokal cafe for many years. The service has always been amicable, the food usually arrives swiftly, and the prices are generally OK. However, I was a bit disappointed with the poached eggs I ordered today (photos for reference). Regardless, I'm maintaining a 4-star rating this time due to their consistently excellent service and overall decent cuisine. But we will certainly be more attentive in assessing the quality of my meal during my next visit.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
