Wilson Park is a pleasant local park in Lawson with open grass, a playground, shade and toilets. Dogs are welcome on-leash, as it is not on the council's off-leash list, with the Lawson village green close by. It is an easy, low-key spot for a short walk in the mid-mountains. A simple on-leash neighbourhood park.
Dogs are welcome on leash. This venue is not listed as an off-leash area, so keep your dog on lead and follow signs on site. (Source: Blue Mountains.)
A really lovely area to relax and have a picnic! Lots of gorgeous trees for shade along with a few tables and benches, we chose to sit near the small waterfall! :) We didn’t look at the play equipment but it had no shade so it would’ve been quite hot from the sun.
It’s very nice during the day but if you’re looking for a public toilet at night that isn’t the one. It’s up a grassy hill in between trees and has no lights. It’s clean enough tho and the park is nice, just not a night stop
Very nice kids park. Located next to Lawson pool, there is decent may equipment that's fully fenced. There's also a nice waterfall and stream with lots of shade and picnic areas.
Lovely surrounding ambience of nature, lots of tall trees and grass, good little playground with slide, bridge and swings etc, nice small waterfall at the far end of the park. Downside of the playground is that there is no shelter and the equipment gets very hot on hot days. There is also minimal parts of the equipment which can be used by a toddler.
Beautiful space. Kids play area, picnic tables and a very nice safe spot for little kids to run around. There is a man made stream that meanders through the park with little bridges and a really old map.of Australia island in the middle of a pond. There also some beautiful trees with plaques outlining who planted them, when and why.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
