My first time overnighting here. I loved the tidy, clean and quaint room. Nice size room. Good sized bathroom and had air-conditioning. Staff very accommodating and happy to assist. Location is perfectly situated directly opposite Lawson Train Station.
Went to the Henry on a Tuesday night for dinner with the family. Lovely food and reasonably priced. It was cheap steak night and a bargain. Thoroughly recommend the haloumi chips and the steak. Service was good and quick despite being busy. Great stop all round.
the food is so great. Lovely pub with a cozy vibe, friendly staff, and tasty food. Portions are generous, and it’s perfect for a quick stop after exploring the Blue Mountains. Can get busy, but worth the visit! thumbs up!!!
I am telling you that I've never had a better Ribeye Steak in my life. Kudos to the chef and kitchen team. The flavour, tenderness and richness were all on point, not to mention perfectly accompanied by the beautifully caramelized onions, beautifully seasoned and fluffy mash and delicious grilled asparagus! If you have a bit of money to spend and want a great feed, come to The Henry Lawson. Also great vibes all around, super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. 5 stars 🌟
Service and location are great but the portions of food are off.. We came for a roast and got a QUARTER of a potato that was barely cooked. The amount of meat was good but everything else was off. We've been here other times and it's been similar...huge Schnitzel hardly any veg.... Sides don't cost much and add to the overall generosity and appeal of the dish. Better and similar for to be had at Club Lawson across the road. UPDATE 21/8 came back to give it another go. There's just so little care or generosity in the food. Ordered chicken parmigiana, hardly any Napolitanoa sauce, just made it soggy, cold chips and two measly, cold bits of broccolini for $29..I doubt we'll be back when you get a better and more generous portion at the Club for $24 😔😔
