After a top experience at nearby Hometown Cafe earlier for breakfast, I thought I'd stop at Coffee on Mort for a coffee on my way back to Sydney. Mistake. The stoney faced unfriendly person made effectively a flat white instead of a long black with a dash of milk as ordered. Counter layout needs change so that there's not a barrier to see coffee cup sizes etc. Cake selection is basic. There's too much competition for terrible service in an average shop.

Thick shakes are amazing but the straw broke down before I had finished the drink because the icecream wasn't blended in well. Slices are huge and well priced! Fresh sandwiches too!

Lovely little coffee shop we stopped in while in Lithgow. Coffee is great and the staff are lovely.
