What a great pub! No fancy trendy colonial features. Just great atmosphere, friendly service and fabulous food.
Local, friendly, welcoming, Great value. Even let us fix a puncture of my bike inside.
The friendly welcome made us feel at home immediately, service with a genuine warmth that's often lost today, meal was excellent, thank you for old world service.
Attended here on Wednesday to listen to some music at the venue. The older bartended with the glasses and beard was unbelievably rude. He didn’t want some of my friends standing in a certain area so he resorted to physically pushing them off the area. Perhaps he would have a more valid case to politely ask them to do so if the area was taped off as a No Standing zone, but it wasn’t! I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you don’t like being pushed around by staff members.
Awesome old style pub with great staff and service. Sweet location. Beautiful in the summer afternoon when they open up all the windows and get that cool breeze while listening to some of Sydney's amazing musicians playing live R&B on the first Wednesday of each month. You can also get on stage and have a sing yourself. Has a great little kitchen serving tasty food if your in the mood.
