What people say
As a Matcha lover, Not recommended. 1. Hot Matcha tastes powdery, and very light, similar as i get from a random cafe, not the Matcha special shop standard. 2. Very light matcha flavour in both Matcha tart and Matcha Swiss roll, more sweetness instead.
Great cafe with good matcha and pastries/cakes. Our iced matcha lattes were well made, not too sweet. Apple/ricotta muffin and the baked cheesecake were unreal Would highly recommend if you’re around Pyrmont!
This was my first time visiting Cafe Cre Asion. The menu at the counter made it easy to order. It clearly explains how to customise your drink’s milk and sugar levels. I ordered a takeaway iced matcha latte and blueberry muffin. The iced matcha latte was smooth and tasty! It was a beautiful bright green and was not overly sweet. As for the blueberry muffin, it was heated to the perfect temperature and was very moist. The muffin was surprisingly delicious and would definitely suit those who prefer sweet foods that fall in the “not too sweet” category. I’ll definitely be back in future and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I ordered Hojicha & Matcha latte, Matcha tart, and Matcha Swiss Roll. I forgot to mention that I wanted everything for dine-in, but I got all of it as takeaway. Plus, the cashier didn't ask me if they were for dine-in or takeaway. The Matcha latte was good with a bitterness aftertaste that I loved. The Matcha Swiss Roll was too sweet. As for the Matcha tart, I couldn't taste the tart, though the matcha cream was okay, not too sweet.
I had matcha latte as takeaway and I loved how rich the matcha flavor was. It was bitter sweet to my liking. They also had a cute display of pastries which caught my eye. Would love to come back to try their pastries one day.
