Ordered miso shallot toast and shiitake mushroom focaccia, both have so much flavours and the bread quality is very well done. Went on a rainy day and staff came and helped us wiped the tables and found us a shade.

Amazing Japanese bakery and coffee shop just off the main drag in Pyrmont. Breads, toasts and pastries are all delicious - we tried quite a few in our three visits there on a recent trip to Sydney. There is a great range of coffees and teas too. Must visit if you are in the area.

Great little bakery hidden away from the city. Was a little hard to walk to with all the road closures but got there eventually. Had the following: - toastie (was a little too sweet for a savoury dish) - ice coffee - flat white (coffee was good) - coffee jelly (jelly tasted a little sour. Reminds me of a tiramisu) Overall would come back for the sweet treats and coffee.

Akipan Cafe in Pyrmont is a hidden gem! Their shokupan is incredibly soft and fluffy—some of the best I’ve had. The hojicha latte is rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, with that lovely roasted tea aroma. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality Japanese-inspired treats!

This is the BEST cafe ever. Spent most of my mornings in Sydney at Akipan, where the bread is soft and the staff is kind. Tried every single dish (the Monte Cristo sando is the best!!!!!) and loved each one of them. Wish I could take this little gem with me around the world. Their coffee jelly is a must~
