We enjoyed a beautiful outdoor lunch with the best views in town. We ordered the salmon poke bowl and a burger—both were delicious, with the poke bowl being truly outstanding. It was the perfect spot to relax with our dogs, watch the surfers, and enjoy great food. Highly recommended.
Stopped here for a late coffee & lunch yesterday on my way through Avoca Beach area. Prime position right next to the beach with indoor & outdoor seating available. Staff here were all super friendly & helpful. I was seated at an outdoor table which offered a nice mix of shade & sunshine while enjoying a nice summer breeze. Coffee was great and after eating I had their Dirty Chai Latte which was superb! I chose the grilled Barramundi Tacos and if I could give 7 stars for this dish I would - it was sensational. Probably the best “fish tacos” I’ve ever had. Menu had lots of delicious options for all tastes across a range of breakfast & lunch choices. I was delighted with my lunch and very impressed with the service & quality of food given the somewhat “touristy” environment of the location. Compliments to the Chef, Barista and all serving staff - highly recommended!
Had lunch here with hubby and a friend. We drank a frozen rosé, lemon lime and bitters and a glass of Pinot Gris. Loved the frozen Rosé. We ate Thai beef salad, a beef burger and fried calamari with salad. I would have liked a bit more flavour on the calamari, and it was a wee bit limp sadly but okay. Service was friendly and prompt and it was fun to sit watching all the beachgoers. We all really enjoyed our lunch.
They serve chilled drinks on hot days, from water to beer, along with a great variety of cocktails. I had a delicious and refreshing piña colada and Mokefish dish. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the view of Avoca Beach was beautiful. The service was impeccable. I would definitely go back.
Had a reservation here for lunch, and unfortunately left disappointed. The chicken skewers ($22) were enjoyable. They were crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a nice teriyaki sauce. They definitely tasty, though a bit on the pricey side for an entree size. Unfortunately, the lemon pepper squid ($18) was less impressive, with only four small pieces of squid that were chewy and lacked flavour. Service was a bit of a letdown. We had a reservation and mentioned it upon arrival, but were still asked how many people were in our party, where we wanted to sit, and we still had to wait awkwardly while a table was cleared and wiped. The owner (presumably) and young servers were polite but a little dry. The view from the restaurant was lovely, and we got to see some dolphins 🐬
