Located at 40 Terrigal Esplanade, Terrigal, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a pretty popular location to eat while in Terrigal and is designed beautifully creating a welcoming atmosphere. It’s very open planned with tables both inside and this leads onto a very spacious patio which also has plenty of seating. The views over the water are fantastic, so beautiful 😍. The menu however, lets the restaurant down. It’s very basic and really doesn’t have a lot of choice. I had the chicken schnitzel burger and fries. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The taste was very bland and it was quite rubbery. The fries were not bad. The feeling was the same for others in my group. For such an amazing location, you would think the menu would be better. The staff were friendly and welcoming though. So this is a plus. I don’t think I would return if return to Terrigal as there is a lot of other places to eat in this area. An average experience. 🤷♀️😳
Amazing place for a drink but terrible place for food. Love the vibe but definitely won’t order food here again. The pizza honestly tasted like a frozen one from the grocery store and was incredibly oily and the garlic bread was burnt. Disappointing considering what a nice location and atmosphere it has.
We came here for dinner and decided to order dessert at 8:25 pm — five minutes before the kitchen was due to close at 8:30. Our waitress kindly asked the chef if it was okay to place the order, and since the kitchen was still open, we went ahead. What shocked us was witnessing the chef in plain view banging the counter and throwing a tantrum over having to make the dish. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch, especially as customers sitting right there. When the dessert arrived, it was even more disappointing. We ordered a brownie sundae. For $16.50, we were served a tiny piece of brownie with four scoops of plain vanilla ice cream, dumped on the plate without care. It was supposed to come with cream, chocolate sauce, but that was missing entirely. The presentation looked terrible — nothing like what was described on the menu or expected from such a good looking ambiance beach house. Honestly, if we wanted a few scoops of ice cream and a tiny brownie, we could have gone to the supermarket for a fraction of the price. It was so disappointing!
Had my Birthday Lunch here and it was amazing. Drinks were great as was the hot seafood platter for 2 and bonus the sun ☀️ was finally out. Thank you for a memorable birthday feast !!
My friends and I were looking for a place for dinner that day, so we decided to try this place. It’s located within the Crown Plaza/Crown Hotel area, serving as the hotel’s beachfront bar and restaurant. Both hotel guests and the public are welcome. I really like the atmosphere here — it’s very relaxed, right by the beach, with plenty of seating. There’s live music in the evenings, and a great selection of Australian wines, cocktails, and mocktails. The portions of the dishes we ordered were very generous, and the taste was quite good. It’s suitable for any occasion, whether for a casual meal or a special dinner.
