Trojans Bistro & Bar

A great spot for watching the cricket on a Saturday afternoon. We love it when our daughters team plays at Terrigal as we always pop upstairs for a drink and a plate of nibbles while we watch the lady's play.

As a local resident, I brought family and interstate guests to your restaurant, having previously spoken very highly of it. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet expectations. The steak was not cooked as ordered, a hair was found in a child’s meal, and meals were served at significantly different times. We had almost finished before our guests’ meals arrived at the same table. The young floor staff were polite and made an effort, however they appeared undertrained, which impacted service flow. Plates were not cleared prior to desserts being served, and while a complimentary dessert was offered, it felt limited given the overall experience. As per the photos attached, the conditions also do not appear ideal for a business aiming to deliver consistent quality. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the restaurant has a strong reputation and the potential to do much better.

Excellent service from friendly staff & delicious food !! The Caesar Salad & Chicken Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce were generous portions and very enjoyable. If you are hungry for a great feed and around Terrigal… do yourself a favour and try Trojans Bistro & Bar !!

Came here for Father’s Day breakfast. We waited over an hour for coffees and food, we had to ask twice for water, and they forgot one of our meals. When the food came, all the bread was burnt and food that was advertised in the menu was missing components. Would not recommend this cafe.

My mum and I went for lunch yesterday there and the food was amazing! I went to the counter past 2:30pm not knowing that was the time the kitchen closed and they still made our order! We were very grateful and even more so because the food we ordered was delicious! We got garlic bread with mozzarella, squid(so tender and yummy) with 2 amazing sauces and fish and chips (3 big pieces with plenty of chips and salad, all really tasty). Everything was excellent and I have to thank again the kitchen staff and floor staff for cooking our food despite being past the kitchen closing time. We will be back for lunch and to try the coffee and treats! (Next time way before the kitchen closes😛) Many thanks again, really appreciated it❤️
