What people say
Excellent view from this lookout. Only accessible by trail. There is a toilet along the track. Seating lookout at the rear of the lookout. No shelter except for the plantation. Would be extremely windy here when gale force winds would be hitting the Sydney Heads. Good view of Manly, North Head, South Head and Quarantine Station. Sit back, relax and watch the Manly Ferry pass by.
A great place to view the heads and Manly but not that easy to get to from either direction. I feel that this lookout could be made a major feature of the Spit to Manly Walk. Needs a bit of TLC but well worth getting to on a good day if you want to view a cruise ship arrival/departure, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race or scenic pictures. Can be accessed from Tania Park in Balgowlah Heights
Well worth the walk from Manley. Stunning views and amazing wildlife on the way.
Easy access via the oval by car or from Manly. Nice walking track with plenty of steps. Perfect bush running track in the winter months. Could get a bit crowded on weekends during summer if you're after a tranquil walk. Run from manly to spit for more steps or the other way around to take advantage of all that manly has to offer.
