Grind Espresso

One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. They were busy (at 3 in the afternoon) but staff could have friendlier. Fabulous atmosphere and they appear to be dog friendly ! I’ll be back !

I absolutely love the coffee and atmosphere at Grind!!! I have been going for years when I'm over Cronulla way, Grind is the only option for my coffee beverages. The staff there are fun and inviting. Samantha and Maddi are a fun duo. There is a reason Grind is the go to place for so many. They take pride in everything they present and it is evident everyone loves what they do. For a fun hip place with quality service and sublime coffee,Grind all the way!! Highly recommend!! 😁

I ordered my coffee today and I asked for more water and Samantha who was making my coffee was extremely rude! And told me that’s how they serve it, continued to be abrupt and rude and told me to leave when I asked her why is she being rude towards me as I asked for more water ? This kind of behaviour is extremely unacceptable, to the owners of Grind please have a good conversation with Samantha about how To communicate with customers and human beings in general! I am paying for a $8 coffee and requested more water not anything else and to be yelled at and told to leave as I get my coffee there each morning is unacceptable and you should as a business take serious responsibility for your staff this is not OKAY!

Good long black with hot molk! Nice atmosphere

When I discovered this place a few years ago the coffee was great! I remember one of the baristas took the time out to make me a nice geisha blend (filtered) coffee and it was amazing! The place had a great vibe and friendly staff. Seemed like a nice local cafe where the staff new the locals that came. It's tucked away in a quiet alley way where you are away from the hustle and bustle of people passing by. I rarely get to Cronulla, but when I do I always make an effort to get my coffee from this place. Unfortunately my last visit was quite disappointing. I ordered a single origin long black (which was from Rwanda). I'm not sure what happened, but the coffee was unpalatable. As soon as I saw the coffee I knew something wasn't right. As you can see from the photo, what is supposed be a smooth layer of creamy crema was replaced with a layer of some kind of ghastly "froth" I give them 3 stars because, the staff were nice, and the vibe is still nice. Perhaps I should have taken it back and asked them to make me another one?
