This is a cute hidden cafe. The food was good but not great, almost bland. I didn’t love the coffee either. The prices were too high for the taste. Plus side is they are dog friendly and aesthetically pleasant.

What an absolute delight! The food was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and made with such care — every bite was a treat. And the coffee? Simply divine — rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. Compliments to the chef and the team for creating such a warm and memorable experience. Can’t wait to come back! ☕🍽️✨and yeah it’s pet friendly too

It has the makings of a good cafe with a sunny historical location that's dog friendly. However, the pricing is ridiculous, the portions are disappointing and their blueberry muffin is just a large cupcake with three blueberries on top. The coffee is okay, but there is never any parking available.

I’ve been to this place three times and have found the food to be average and very overpriced. I thought I’d give it one more chance and take my family. The feta sausage roll was very bland and the Lebanese platter was underwhelmingly small for closer to $30. The coffee is very expensive and a bit above average at best. The setting is absolutely lovely but they seem to be always understaffed and I don’t recommend this place. It is a real shame given how nice the setting is and it would be lovely to see the food the prices and the service pick up.

Located inside the Cumberland Hospital grounds, a charming cafe catering primarily to hospital staff and locals in the surrounding area. Housed within a beautiful old heritage building crafted from sandstone, the cafe exudes a sense of beauty and history. The tranquil surroundings, with other sandstone structures dotting the landscape, create a peaceful ambiance. During our visit, we opted for lunch and discovered that the menu was relatively small. However, we both decided on the prawns linguine, and we were pleasantly surprised. The pasta was delicious, and we were impressed by the generous portion of prawns, with a total of eight succulent pieces. The meal left us satisfied and content. While lunch may have had a limited selection, we noticed that the breakfast menu offered more enticing options. Intrigued by the variety, we decided to return and explore their breakfast offerings in the future. Overall, Havenstone provided us with a memorable dining experience in a picturesque setting, making it a worthwhile destination for both locals and visitors alike.
