The Marina Cafe

This café has a lot going for it – a location right on the water (and some tables actually out on the wharf), free and plentiful parking right out front (unlike the pricey and overrun car parks down at Church Point), great staff, and wonderful food. We were delighted at just how good the dishes here were – the Asian-style salads and whole fish in particular were superb. Food was brought out fast, and the staff were superb dealing with a range of dietary requirements.

Great place for lunch (haven’t tried breakfast). Entrees were big and could easily be shared (we had salt and pepper squid and crispy pork). Crispy Duck salad was do good that my partner went back with a friend to have it again. Asian influences were very interesting, including in the Thai Bloody Mary as well as the food. The one grizzle is service needs to be better. It was friendly and helpful but it was 45’ after arrival before we had a drink in hand. That needs to be faster, and then the place would be perfect. We scored a waterside table on a Sunday for our anniversary dinner and the outlook on the water is great too. Just fix that service on arrival with faster drinks service and order taking.

Had a wonderful breakfast with my family today. Melvin our waiter was wonderful. He was professional, courteous and remembered our names as we were leaving. The food was exceptionally good. Atmosphere overlooking the marina was delightful. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Paul

Fantastic spot and great food and coffee! We had breakfast here for the first time and would highly recommend the omelettes on the breakfast menu which we had today. Seating is available right on the marina, and with very professional and friendly staff, particularly Melvin who looked after us today, Marina Cafe has a lovely atmosphere to go with the great food and coffee and we will be back again for sure.

Had the most amazing weekend lunch here - food is absolutely delicious and everything is made in house. Great service, great food, great location! Highly recommend this place. Melvin is awesome and looked after us sooo well.
