Had coffee and breakfast here before taking our dog to Bayview for a run and swim. The service was so so great, like unexpectedly so. The coffee was great and food good. We easily got a seat on what was a pretty busy Sunday morning. Very dog friendly.

Amazing staff, friendly, polite, happy to go above and beyond. Food is always fresh and full of flavour. They have a wide variety of food and drinks - including freshly made juices. The serves are generous and the prices reasonable. A popular place to bring family when they visit. They are always happy to accommodate dogs as well. The cafe is conveniently located near the Bayview mariner and there is plenty of parking.

Probably one of the best cafes in the area. Coming down from Kuring-Gai West Head walk, tried this spot for brunch. Ample parking (but still pretty busy), staff in friendly (I spilled water on my table, they were happy to help without any fuss or looks), and food is okay, coffee is great

8 Knots has everything - location, great food, and above all, such wonderful people running it. We've dined here a few times lately and the staff are just amazing looking after my elderly dad. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Food comes out fast, and is superb value for the quality, especially the salads. They also have no problems coping with dietary issues. The coffee is very good, and tea comes in a pot, with a proper cup and milk. The tables mostly look back to the road, but right next to you is a small park with the perfect view straight up Pittwater to Lion Island. There's a small amount of free parking out front, or paid council parking (free to locals). A fantastic local gem.

The melted peanut butter makes this my favourite place to grab an açai bowl - something I’ve been craving non-stop since breastfeeding, funnily enough. The family and I absolutely love that 8 knots is our local cafe! The extensive menu, quality of coffee, friendly faces and views across the water make our visits here extra enjoyable!
