We had a wonderful experience at the Harbord Hotel restaurant. Molly took exceptional care with our meals and even took the time to discuss our dietary requirements with the chef before confirming our order. The food was absolutely delicious! And the cocktails were great too.

First time here, fantastic service staff so amazingly friendly and normal - lady told me to wait 8 minutes to get the happy hour. Where else does that happen? Keep up the good work, my overseas visitors loved the beach ambiance.

Food offering very disappointing, especially for the prices. Chicken breast nuggets just the usual pulped rubbish, lobster roll was uninspiring and tasted like canned crab meat, saltand vinegar crisps just a bag of smiths opened yesterfay. Average pub grub parading itself as something more. Simple, yes. Fresh and delicious, hmmm... On the plus side, service was good 👍

Myself and a group of 10 friends enjoyed the bottomless brunch 2 hour package upstairs in Bombies a week ago. The food was absolutely stand out, 7 courses of share plates, all 10 of us agreed each course was delicious and way above expectations. The margaritas were exceptional and the service and atmosphere was excellent. Such good value and a great afternoon!

Really disappointed.. We came a few years ago to Balsa and got the set menu. It seemed as if then it was fine dining. Amazing food and great table service. We came tonight and were extremely disappointed. It felt like a pub. No longer the amazing table service and now poor quality food. The food was deep fried and really below average. We paid $170 which included 2x of the set menu’s and 2x wines. We would happily pay this for a high quality experience and high quality food but this was so below average. Deep fried in seed oils and tasteless. We will not be back.
