Lagoon Reserve is one of the Northern Beaches' standout dog spots, combining an off-leash area with direct access to sand and water. The lagoon creates sheltered pockets where smaller or less confident dogs can swim without being overwhelmed, while the open sandy stretch gives bigger dogs room to run. It's close to Manly Beach with usually easy parking. Waste bags and bins are provided.

Manly Lagoon Reserve is one of those places where dogs seem to completely take over in the best way. The signs are pretty relaxed - off-leash is generally fine as long as your dog stays under control - and there are always pups running around, playing, swimming, and sniffing their way along the trail. The walking path follows the water with plenty of grass beside it, making it an easy, scenic spot for a stroll. There are also benches and picnic tables dotted along the way if you want to stop and sit for a while. It’s right next to the Manly Lagoon Dog Area, so the whole stretch feels very dog-focused and welcoming.

This is a great place to let your dog run free in the sand and water. Close to Manly Beach. Usually easy parking. Our dog loves it.

Good place for dog to swim and play.

Fantastic dog park! My dog loves to swim but she is quite small, and there are little sheltered pockets for her to swim in without being run over. Dogs definitely need to be fairly well trained as not fenced area. The park itself is also a lovely walk

Great for the furry ones to run around, swim, and best shady spot is under the bridge. Not as busy in the morning, few parking spots, you have to be quick. Off course very busy in the weekends - Cheers Queensy!!!
