Edit on my original review: I revisted jan 26. Under new ownership? The new outdoor decor is too shabby in an unartistic way... for example the seat cushions are dirty and fading, clutter everywhere, spare chairs and cushions are stacked up looking dodgy, the kids play area is full of worn and dirty items that look like they are from the tip. There are piles of debris next to dining areas and around the property. The food is very good value and decent, with a few improvements on the decor and getting rid of the rubbish piles im sure this place will be great again Original review: August 25. Lovely little spot. Dog friendly. Bacon and egg roll with relish was cheap and delicious 😋. Came back here every during our stay in the area
A colourful cafe with lovely friendly people. I will have to come back and try the Reuben sandwich 🥪
Bought 5 potato scallops $8. Small 7-8cm in size. The worst was that they were doughy and the batter was still creamy and uncooked on the inside. Disguisting.. Shop is very cluttered.
I visited in a Saturday morning in between real estate viewings, and I had nearly half an hour in between. I ordered one of their ‘Rueben’ sandwiches. The sandwich was amazing, but I missed the real estate open time as it took more than 25minutes to get the take-away sandwich. They apologised as others were complaining as well.
Sitting in the cafe right now eating the best rueben sandwich I've ever had, I had to post a review straight away. The cafe is a hidden gem sitting sort behind the Ocean Beach Holiday Park on the way to Pearl Beach. A great place for a lunch or coffee is you're staying in the area. The food is fresh (and I genuinely mean fresh!) and affordably priced, and the staff were amazingly friendly to me and my family. The cafe displays items for sale like stone planters and boutique candles which were great for souvenirs. Highly recommend a visit here, it was the highlight lunch from our weeklong trip to the Central Coast.
