The Peninsula Recreation Precinct is easily one of the best family parks on the Central Coast. The playground is huge, modern and packed with great equipment for all ages, from toddlers to big kids who want to climb, spin and explore. There’s plenty of shade, lots of seating and enough open space that it never feels too crowded. The skate park, basketball area and grassy fields give older kids and teens plenty to do, and the whole area has a relaxed, coastal feel. Everything is clean, well maintained and thoughtfully designed. One of the best parts is the little café right next to the playground. It is perfect for grabbing a coffee or a snack while the kids play, which makes the whole outing easier for parents. Parking depends on the time of day. It can be tricky during busy periods like weekends or school holidays, but most of the time you can find a spot without too much stress. Toilets are nearby and clean, and the precinct is dog friendly with lots of room for on-leash walks. A fantastic spot for families, picnics, birthdays or just letting the kids burn off energy. One of the Coast’s best recreation areas.

Good venue for children of various ages, from a new playground with sand play and other activities, to a huge climbing frame and flying fox for older kids. Cafe right next door, good for grabbing a coffee and relaxing while the kids play. Easy parking.

We travelled about 30 mins to get to this park, and it was well worth it! We wanted to try it out for older kids (ages 9 and 13) and it was great! You can bring bikes, scooters and skateboards, but even if you don't, there's plenty for the kids to do. There's toilets close by, ample parking, coffee and food at the cafe's and plenty of bbq's and grass space for picnics. There's also footy/soccer fields close by for kids to kick a ball around, as well as a half basketball court.....great for a few hours out in the fresh air and sunshine! And the beach is a very short stroll away.

Fabulous recreation precinct with activities for the whole family. The Peninsula Recreation Precinct includes a children’s park, outdoor tables and chairs for eating, the Jasmine Greens Park Kiosk, a skate park, bmx track and a play oval. The precinct is also directly opposite the beach and Surf Life Saving Club. The Children’s Park also has outdoor gym equipment located around it as well, for the adults who want to work out while the children play!!! The kiosk has coffee, cold drinks, food and alcohol for supplies during the day. My kids and I enjoyed riding around the school to precinct loop whilst I grabbed a coffee as well. BMX Park is a little run down and tends to accumulate water, but is still worthwhile having a crack at. Strong recommend from me!!!
