The Runway is a park in Woy Woy. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Dog rules
–Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. Love this little park. My kids have been going here for many years and it’s so nice to see it’s upgrades over time. It’s not far from Woy Woy South public school and opposite. a lovely little cafe it’s has the best coffee.

Great fish and chip shop across the road that does gluten free chips as well 😊 The park itself is clean and well maintained. I wouldn't recommend going down after school if the local neighborhood kids are there.. Causing trouble, being rude and riding their bikes around on the busy road with no helmets Doesn't make for a nice afternoon... Where are their parents!

It's a peaceful park... Not much for the kids to do with the lack of equipment!! Not bad for a quick lunch and a ay if you lived near by.
