James Browne Oval / Park is a park in Woy Woy. Dog access isn't confirmed, but it may be worth checking.
Central Coast Council's "Guide to being PAWSOME!" booklet states: "When exercising in a public place, keep your dog on a lead and under the control of a competent person." "This means when you are outside your home, including on the footpath, your dog must be on a lead — except in designated dog off-leash exercise areas." The booklet also notes that under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs are prohibited from schools, shopping centres, beaches (except in designated areas), food preparation areas, playgrounds and wildlife protection areas. This park is not on Central Coast Council's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies. (Source: Central Coast Council — "Guide to being PAWSOME!" Someone my dad’s house and my friends every now and then and there’s so many cute dogs running around and kind people and they love helping other people so that’s a really good thing about the people so I reckon you go there and realise how kindly other people are
2 ovals and a very nice club house with clean amenities. Good canteen with viewing areas of the fields. Plenty of parking and easy access for disabled.
Memories of playing cricket here as a kid bowling Merv Hughes leg spin slower balls and watching my son score 90 not out and the game getting stopped due to rain. 😳. Also a Pokégym I travel to to insert my Snorlax.
The Location of the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids Tryathlon on the Central Coast.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
