Halekulani Bowling Club

Went to the palatium diner last night. They were promoting their new indoor bowls venue. Beautiful facilities. Only thing i could see wrong was there wasn't enough garbage bins available and they were serving us oysters , skewers etc . Minor detail, the facilities and food were excellent. The buffet for the main course was a spark of genius. People had to line up which means they weren't waiting to be served, weren't anxious and wondering when their food would arrive , less staff required ie waiters etc .. it made it easier and a better experience for all.. Food was excellent as usual and plenty of it. A great night all round.. Ty to the club and organizers

Edit:- Another visit for lunch! This time we had the Hali Chicken Sandwich and the Steak Sandwich - both with chips. Neither of us could finish our lunch once again. We've never had a bad meal at Halekulani Bowling Club. We had lunch today (first time) and the food was fantastic! We had Chicken Schnitzel and Beef Nachos, both were generous portions and neither of us could finish our meals. The staff were friendly and the club was so clean. We'll be back!

What a great night from start to finish! From Peter picking us up in the courtesy bus from the motel to drop off, amazing staff, atmosphere, affordable drinks and food! Outstanding grilled Barra with mash and Veges. Thanks for making our stay at Budgewoi on a very wet evening a cracker! See you next time as new members!

The Halekulani Bowling Club is our absolute go to place for a meal and relax when we are in the area. The ambience is perfect for a wind down. Nothing makes it better than the staff here, they are always so friendly and warmly welcoming. Today, we had pumpkin and feta salad with garlic and herb bread, chicken Sun-dried tomato pesto pasta and waffles with banana, strawberries, ice-cream and chocolate sauce. It was delicious and super filling. For drinks we had lime soda, lemon lime bitters from the bar. And finished the meal with a long black and flat white. The coffees were surprisingly very good. All in all the cool ambience, delicious food, generous hospitality, large portion sizes and reasonable prices would make it our preferred place for a family treat or a friends’ catch-up in the Central Coast. Looking forward to our next visit already 😊

First experience, food reasonable price. Veges a little bit cold. Second experience years later, a lot better. Good reasonable prices , since becoming vegetarian there wasn't really an option on the lunch menu but after asking the chef they happily made me a vegetarian burger and chips that was one of the best iv had. Didn't wait long either.
