The morning coffee society

Popular local cafe with great vibe, excellent coffee, yummy food. Drinks came out quickly but food took a while (Saturday brunch was very busy) Corn fritters were delicious with great flavor and texture combo. Prawn tacos disappointing, too charcoaled or unusual tapenade combo. Caramel slice was great with the coffee. Chia pudding not sweet and excellent. Definitely worth visiting- indoor and outdoor seating.

These guys are the best all round in long jetty. We moved to the area and tried all the cafes, we now go out of our way to come here. Every day. The service is the best in the area, everyone is smiling and hard working. The coffee - best tasting. The banana bread - fresh, real, amazing (not bulk stuff). Venue - funky. Menu - awesome. Online pick up is so simple too! My 2nd time there and Charlotte remembered my order and told me my coffee was ready as I walked in. Roy is also noticeably on top of things at the FOH too. The team here really do a wonderful job (I’m a hard marker). Loved the real flowers on the table.

The drinks came very quickly despite it being busy. When i asked for an extra pump of vanilla in my matcha they did it very quick and was super nice about it. The food was very good it had big portions at the usual prices and presentation was very lovely. With the eggs Benny the kale was nice and crispy and a good addition to the meal, however my second egg wasnt as runny as I would have liked, but that was okay. They did not hold back with the amount of avocado on the avocado toast and they have plenty of gluten free options which was refreshing. The service was super nice and they all had a great attitude and we left with a smile.

Let’s just say upfront this place is wonderful! I’d come back any time, any day of the week! The coffees and cakes are delicious and there’s a lovely community vibe, but … When we were there items on our order were forgotten. Not a big deal, but nevertheless we had to follow it up. You can see from the pictures the food looks incredible, but the flavor didn’t live up to the expectation. Prawn tacos were a little astringent and the corn fritters were bland and doughy. Will definitely come back, maybe this was just a one-time dud flavor day - everything else was so good, easy to give MCS the benefit of the doubt.

Had 2 x ☕️ and 1 chicken & avo toasting. Had to wait a while but they did mention that it could take half hr to 40mins. Also lady at cashier did not know there was build your own breakfast. Coffee was cold by the time received toasting but lady serving was kind to bring another coffee no extra charge. Price is reasonable. Overall I was happy. 😊
