Bad place. Took 30mins to deliver chicken quesadillas and chicken burger. The chicken quesadillas dont taste chicken meat, im convinced it’s halloumi. The strawberatcha as well which we expected would come sooner but didn’t. I went to the counter to check my drink and the food and saw then the wait staff picked up my drink from a table filled with young boys and girls holding/checking the drink, and gave it to my table. I was also told it was chicken meat.I was watching this while i was talking to one of the staff on Australia day. Terrible experience. I could’ve not accept the drink as it was already touched/sanitary reasons but i just accepted it as i was thirsty and hungry. Mind you it was very quite when we came and ordered. Go to next door instead if you can. Andoh, the matcha drink doesnt taste like matcha at all.

Older lady is the glue that holds this place together, she was lovely and quite funny. Otherwise it was incredibly slow service with visibly frustrated customers. Waited at least 40 minutes for a couple bacon & egg rolls and coffees It was a very hot day and yet inside the cafe was hotter than the outside Overall food quality was fine, coffee was average and value low.

First time coming here. Very happy with the meal. Missed out on the eggs Benedict, will try tomorrow. We had an iced drink and burger/toasty costing almost $100. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed their well sized milk shake. I really like the variety of options. will be back

The tacos were incredible! 🌮✨ I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite, every bite was amazing, I especially loved the haloumi taco and the pork taco. I’m definitely coming back for more, and I can’t wait to bring my son along so we can rate the tacos together as a fun little game. (Pretty sure I’ll be dreaming about these tacos for a while!) On our way out, we chatted with the owners, and they were so kind and warm. It’s a small, family-owned business, and you can really feel the way they care about their business through the food they make and the way they care about their business 💛

5-Star Google Review for Lakeside Cafe, Burrill Lake, NSW Lakeside Cafe in Burrill Lake is an absolute gem! Conveniently located on Balmoral Road, just 30 meters past the post office on the way to the boat ramp, it’s the perfect spot for a delicious meal or coffee break. The food here is outstanding – I’ve tried both the steak sandwich and the eggs Benedict burger, and they were perfection! The steak sandwich was packed with flavor and cooked just right, while the eggs Benedict burger was a creative twist on a classic that I can’t stop raving about. To top it off, they serve Grinders Coffee, which is smooth and full-bodied – exactly what you need to start your day or enjoy with your meal. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the location couldn’t be better. If you’re in Burrill Lake or passing through, you must stop by Lakeside Cafe. Highly recommended!
