A Mecca for anyone who loves and appreciates craft beer... Their Triple IPA alone is worth the visit, and their XPA is a cut above most. So good, I'm about to buy a Dangerous Ales T-shirt.
Visited Dangerous Ales Brewery and really enjoyed it. Tried the pale ale and the imperial stout — both were excellent, with the stout being especially rich and full-bodied. Great atmosphere and quality brews. Definitely worth a visit for beer lovers!
Stopped by to grab some cases to take back to Sydney with me, unfortunately the hotel was closed at the time so didn’t get to try anything on tap or the food from the bar but these guys are making some exceptional brews at the moment, some of the best core range beers in the market and the limited’s are always on point too. Need to organise a trip down for a weekend to experience the beers on tap at the hotel!
Friendly staff. Quick service. The flat bread was the winner but the portion size of the mains was a shocker. The fish for the sushi was king fish. The fish of the day on the wood fire was grouper. I’ll admit I’m not a grouper connoisseur so not sure if wood-fire is the best way to cook it. We were hungry. It was a bit rubbery. I would stop over again for the flat bread but not a full meal.
Great beers - brewed locally and available from the Milton Hotel. I believe the beers are available elsewhere in the South Coast too. The hotel / brewery is must visit if visiting Milton/the South Coast. Take note of the trading hours and plan to come. Lots of locally brewed craft beers on tap and available from the bar - everything from standard styles to "experimental" beers. The pub doesn't have your standard pub food - amazing seafood and other produce - vegetarian options too. Try the fish! Could do with one or two more staff members but the staff there did a great job.
