Wheeler Park is a friendly local park in Narrabeen with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of birdlife. Dogs are welcome on-leash, as it is not on the council's off-leash list, with bag stations and parking on hand. Seating is limited, but it is a pleasant, quiet spot for an easy walk. A calm on-leash park for a local stroll.
One of many playgrounds that’s not maintained and needs a makeover. Generously provided with four waste bins. Seems excessive. Till I noticed how many walkers were using for doggy poo bags.
The jewel in the crown for the Narrabeen area. The construction of a walkway around the entire circumference of the lake has created something truly special to experience in part, or if you're up for it the whole around 10 kilometres. Some parts of it are truly primordial, and the late afternoon sunsets can be magnificent. Easy parking, kayak hire and well equipped picnic areas make the Narrabeen Lake something very special for individuals and families.
Nice atmosphere and friendly helpful people walking dogs 🐕 Not much seating but plenty of bird life 🐦 You can hear the birds🐦chatting away. Little hard to see them in the trees. Street parking available. Close to shopping. Close to cafe's. #coddiwompleicp
