Five Dock Park is a well-maintained local park with open grass, BBQ facilities and a playground. Dogs can exercise off-leash here under effective control, kept clear of the playground, with the separate fenced dog park close by for a secure run. It is a popular, tidy green space that locals use through the week. A comfortable spot for an off-leash walk with plenty of room.
Great park and visit it multiple times a week. I just wish there wasn't so many bad dog owners that have a sense of entitlement taking their dogs off leashes on the football/cricket oval, around work out equipment, children's play area and in the parts of park where dog aren't supposed to be off leash. I'm in the park minding my own business and have been impacted by these dogs that owners have off leashes many times, I've seen dogs scare children in the children's play area. I wish they would follow the rules and respect other users of the park as well as clean up after their dogs. This is not all dog owners, but trust me there are way too many not doing the right thing on a daily basis.
Love taking the pack to Five Dock dog park for a run. If we had a covered area for those rainy days it would be perfect!!
One of the many things I really like about Australia is its parks. I love that almost every area has its own park, and each one is beautifully maintained, including this one. This is one of the parks in Five Dock that I really enjoy. We come here often because it has a huge grass field where my child can run freely. It also offers several sports facilities and a small playground. The park itself is huge! It has a skateboarding area, designated dog parks (with separate spaces for big and small dogs), tennis courts, and BBQ areas. There are also clean toilets and plenty of seating where you can relax and enjoy the breeze.
An excellent park - working and well kept, well worth a visit. Features include sport fields, children’s play area (great condition), war memorials, very large skate park, off-leash dog area, benches, working barbecues, walking paths and gardens. Very well taken care of, very enjoyable to visit. Has a bit of everything. A cut above all the parks within 5km radius. Strongly recommended.
Five Dock Park Concrete Bowls. My Favourite place to be, shine, show off, and to be at peace with thes urroundings. Old Bowl and New Bowl, much to see and do.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
