This park is next to Drummoyne Oval. Nice playground for kids with some good climbing equipments. Very good grass area for any activities. Lots of dogs off leash running around. The aircraft noise is high and break the silence every now and then. Close to water and a view to Victoria Bridge. Off street parking could be limited.

Taplin Park in Drummoyne is a charming, well-maintained local park that offers a peaceful escape right in the suburb. The park features open grassy areas perfect for picnics, casual sports, or just relaxing on a sunny afternoon, along with well-kept walking paths that are ideal for a leisurely stroll or morning jog. Mature trees provide plenty of shade, creating a comfortable environment even on warmer days. For families, the playground is a highlight safe, clean, and thoughtfully designed to cater to children of different ages. There are also picnic tables and benches scattered throughout, making it easy to spend an extended period enjoying the outdoors. The park has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why locals frequent it for both quick visits and longer outings. While it’s a smaller community park, Taplin Park stands out for its cleanliness, accessibility, and relaxed vibe. It’s a reliable, pleasant spot for families, dog walkers, or anyone looking for a bit of greenery in Drummoyne.

Gorgeous water views in this inner harbour area, in the heart of inner Sydney. A hidden gem. Good for walks beside the water. Restful, quiet, yet highly populated. Great parking. Publuc boat ramp. Interesting place.
