From the first time I walked in, I had no idea what to pick as everything looked delicious! Ended up getting a baked ricotta cake and some mixed petite pastries plus coffee. I ordered x2 cakes Fruit flan was amazing! And the second was a blueberry cheesecake. Highly recommend going here!
Lovely bakery with great coffee and a delicious apple danish. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. The only downside was that the apple danish came as a large single portion, which felt a bit too big for one person — it would be great if they offered smaller sizes.
Even with the rain gently falling all day, this café was a warm little pocket of comfort. Friendly staff, fresh pastries, and a brekkie that felt like sunshine. Grateful for the calm it brought..would absolutely recommend.!
Mid arvo soirée. Pie cabinet 2/3 sold out, a good sign. Beef and mushroom pie, chicken bourguinon, plain vanilla sausage roll. You feel like in the Southern Highlands without the drive. Amazing menu, top quality service. Solid coffee as God intended. I'd bring a date. Go on. You know you wanna.
I enquired through the Bakehouse website on behalf of Scalabrini to cater a special afternoon tea for around 100 guests in May, and the experience was flawless. Their website is user-friendly, transparent with pricing, and features beautiful photos of their food, which made ordering easy. Carla was approachable and flexible, making the whole process smooth. We ordered sandwiches, pastries, fruit platters and more. The entire order was fresh, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by everyone. I visited the cafe weeks later (so homey), where I met Carla and her daughter - a truly warm and welcoming team. No wonder they’ve been a local favourite since 1995. Highly recommend!
