What people say
Great swimming area for smaller kids as well as bigger. High tide, there is a wider shallow area (max knee deep on an adult) for the smaller kids. Low tide its still there, just not as big. There is a deep channel running through the middle that is popular with floating along. The area opens up directly into the ocean to the east approx a hundred metres up and is popular with small safe surf. Great little area for a picnic however only 1 undercover area. Does have toilets and ramps into the water.
Would love to have a playground here but the water is perfect for kids. Plenty of shade and enough parking for weekdays.
Great location, picnic & Electric BBQ's available, friendly family environment, with free parking. You can swim here although there's no on duty surf life savers, exercise caution with small children. Enjoy.
What a beautiful spot! We loved it, great for families with little kids, paddleboarding etc.
