Fishermans Beach is a dog-friendly beach in Port Kembla. You'll find parking nearby, and the calm, shallow water is great for dogs who enjoy a gentle paddle. Boiler Point is also around 350 metres away — a good spot to dry off after a swim. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
On-leash only, at restricted times. In summer (September school holidays to Anzac Day): before 9am and after 6pm. In winter (the rest of the year): before 9am and after 4pm. A lovely, calm beach that’s a great alternative to the busier main beach. The sandy stretch beneath Hill 60 is perfect for a relaxing day out, with a peaceful atmosphere and plenty of space to enjoy. The walk back up to the street can be a bit steep, but it’s worth it for such a tranquil spot. Highly recommend for a quiet outing by the water
No no dont go there. Big sharks will eat you as soon you touch water. Massive snakes in bush around. Ok. It is great semi secret beach, please take your rubbish with you after fishing. Lets keep it clean and quiet.
Very calm beach good alternative to the main beach, however it is unpatrolled and the steep incline walk up to the street can be tricky after a long day.
