MM Beach is an off-leash dog beach where families with kids and dogs regularly share the sand without issue. The water is calm and sheltered enough for dogs to swim comfortably, and there's a walking path that extends along the coast. Bins and bags are provided, and there's parking nearby. Visitors often mention it as one of their dogs' favourite spots, with the combination of open sand and gentle water making it easy for dogs to burn energy.

Dog rules

Off-leash green zone beach. Dogs are allowed off-leash at all times. Dogs must be under effective control of a person aged 16+ who can control the dog by voice or other means. Dogs must not attack wildlife including birds. Owners must carry bags and clean up after their dogs. Restricted breed and declared dangerous dogs are not allowed. Dogs must stay on a leash going to and from the beach, including all pathways. Source: Wollongong City Council – Dog Beaches and Parks (wollongong.nsw.gov.au/places/dog-beaches-and-parks)

Fantastic spot for both people and their furry friends. As an off-leash dog beach, it’s perfect for letting pets run free, chase balls, and splash in the water while kids play in the sand. The walking path is easy and scenic, with bins and bags provided for convenience, and there’s even a nearby café

We take our dogs here all the time, and it is one of their favourite places to go! It is an off-leash dog park, and so our dogs can run around chasing their ball while the kids play in the sand. It is not patrolled, but with so many people in the water and on the sand, I would say that the risk is very low. Me and my kids swim here all the time, and the water is usually not too cold. This is a great beach to come and visit!

Great place for your furry friends, plenty of room. Also a great walking path, reasonably easy. Plenty of bins, and bags for your dogs.. you know what. There is a cafe nearby (near boat ramp) Only issue if you're at the beach there are no toilet facilities.. you would probably have to walk to the boat ramp
