Dening Park is a popular dog-friendly park in Byron Bay where dogs are welcome on lead. Around 450 metres away, Moonlight Japanese is a great spot for a post-walk drink.
Dog rules
Dogs are welcome on-leash. In this council park dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control at all times, and droppings must be removed. Byron Shire is an explicit-model LGA: dogs must be on-lead everywhere except council-designated off-leash areas.

Denning Park is a great place to start and finish a ride or a run. The 6km return up to the lighthouse and back is spectacular!
