A tiny little unassuming coffee shop, somewhat hidden in the laneway, this place seems to attract mostly locals and was by far the best coffee I had in Byron Bay without comparison. The baristas are friendly and know what they are doing. Exceptional coffee. Seating is limited outside. If you come at the right time, it can be a calm place to sit with a book or a in a circle with a group of friends. Lots of locals chatting amongst each other with their dogs. Not a bunch of tourists. Seems like the perfect little neighborhood coffee spot away from all of the noise.

Best roaster in the Northern Rivers! Rodney knows his coffee. We love our local haunt! Great place to catch up with friends, including the owners and baristas (who feel more like family than service staff).

The café itself is really cute and cozy, and the barista was very friendly. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my cappuccino: the milk didn’t seem completely fresh to me, and afterward my stomach didn’t feel great. I’m not trying to accuse anyone — mistakes can happen — but I would really appreciate if the milk could be checked more carefully before preparing the drinks. With that, the visit would have been perfect.
