Lovely little cafe near the harbour. Coffees and milkshakes are amazing. Bacon and egg roll was also a hit. Staff were all really nice and friendly.
A wonderful menu, great range of pastries and excellent coffee. They also have a range of other items for sale, such as travel coffee mugs. We were staying at Rydges (just across the street) and ate there three mornings in a row. I am unashamedly hooked on their awesome overnight oats - and I'm now inspired to replicate it at home.
Amazing breakfast in Newcastle. Been having breakfast here every morning for my holiday. Very conveniently located near Rydges hotel. The overnight oats are amazing and highly recommend them! The coffees are excellent too. The protein choc banana shake is so good and perfect after going to the gym next door. The scrambled eggs are great too. My kids loved their kids milkshakes and ham and cheese croissants. Staff are welcoming and efficient. Will be back!
Very tasty avocado on sourdough. The added smoked salmon was perfect, not too salty, more like a light cure.
We had the Eggs Benedict and the mushroom toast. I added scrambled eggs to the mushroom toast and it was an extra $5. This made my meal $21 which is ok, I guess, but the portion size was tiny. One slice of bread, two mushrooms and a couple of spinach leaves just wasn't enough for me. The coffee was fine and the eggs and hollandaise sauce was good too. It's a good location, if you're looking for a spot close to the museum too.
