Looked up off leash dogs parks on the Ballina council website. They indicated that there was an area in the "Bicentennial Gardens". I drove into the main car park. There was no signage showing where the off leash section was located. I walked around with my two dogs on lead for a few minutes, and couldn't find any further information anywhere. The park itself is not very inviting and I left quickly. They are definitely not what I would consider "gardens". As a woman alone, I did not feel comfortable being there.

Park well maintained and toilet was very clean.

Toilets were absolutely disgusting at 7.30am. From the walls to the toilet itself. It looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in years. Definitely wouldn't recommend stopping here to use them. The park itself doesn't look to bad could use a mow. The walkway looks great.

Had need of the toilets at this location! They were clean enough, but access road was more potholes than bitumen! However, I do appreciate this area was severely impacted by recent flooding, and this probably is down the priority list for repair. Weirdly my partner discovered the privacy wall between the toilet and urinal had been removed! Luckily there was a lock on the entrance door.

It's a good place to stop overnight or just for a rest
