Bombo Beach is a larger, open stretch of coastline with wide views out to the surrounding headland. It offers plenty of space for dogs to move, but conditions can be rough at times, with stronger waves than more sheltered beaches.
It works best for dogs that are comfortable in open environments and don't rely on calm water.
Dogs allowed off-leash in the centre section of Bombo Beach between sunrise and sunset. Dogs must be on leash when entering and leaving the off-leash area. Dogs prohibited outside the designated centre section.
Took my dog here for a swim. The surf was quite rough, so we couldn’t go in too deep. Beautiful views of the cliffs. It was a hot day with no shade, so we didn’t stay long.
Quite a nice beach. It is very quiet and parking is free here. You can go for a nice walk from the car park. As usual flies are an issue here.
See it on the train, not a lot of people there. Should be a wonderful and leave place
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
