Dog rules

Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Liverpool City Council's Animal Management Standard states dogs must be on a lead at all times except in approved off-leash exercise areas. Dogs are prohibited from rivers and creeks, within 10 metres of playgrounds, and within 10 metres of food preparation areas. This venue is not a designated off-leash area. Great park, has public parking near the kids playground and has the Black Elk restaurant close by and Carnes Hill Shopping Centre across the Road. Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is also adjacent the park. Park also has a large young kids and infants play area too!!!

Nice kids area. Some rubbish laying around but the equipment is in good condition. Lots of activities. Shaded area. Edit: swings have broken buckles now.

poor excuse for a park, equipment below average, filthy seats and dirty equipment.

I took a bus out to Carnes Hill to try the Black Elk cafe. The big vego breakfast was nice . The only recommendation would be to slow cook the beans as they didn't have the flavour and heat I would have expected . The coffee was 5 star and I wish I could fit in the Milo vanilla bean pancakes and they looks amazing.
