Shale Hills Fenced Dog Park
Shale Hills Dog Park is a large, purpose-built off-leash space with a layout designed around how dogs move and explore. Rolling mounds create variation in the terrain, giving dogs different sightlines and places to run or retreat. There are separate fenced areas, water fountains, shaded sections, and an agility course, along with planting that adds more sensory variety. The scale and structure make it well suited to more active dogs or longer visits.
Dog rules
Fenced off-leash dog park with separate areas for different-sized dogs, agility course, training stations, and scented garden. Dogs must be supervised and under control by a competent person over 16. Dogs must be on-leash when entering and leaving the off-leash area. Dangerous and restricted breed dogs are prohibited. Vehicle access 6am–6pm (8pm daylight savings). What people say
Definitely don't go here often enough but they have plenty of room for all dog sizes. Also have a isolated area for smaller dogs. Our Cavoodle enjoyed running around and interacting with other breeds. Poop bags are provided near the entrances near the bins if you forget or run out of bags. Plenty of taps and water for your fluffy companion.
Best Park in the Area! There's a large and a smaller fenced off area for dogs, a couple fun obstacles for them, shade, and it's pretty well maintained. There's also paved footpaths in the greater bush area around the park that are pretty nice for a stroll
Fantastic dog park, very spacious and enclosed for offleashing. There are smaller fenced off enclosures within the big dog park. There are a few bins with courtesy Doggie bags in case you didn't bring your own. There's different dog training activities and training tips post along the path.
"5/5 stars! This dog park is paw-fect! Huge spaces for dogs to run, tunnels for adventures, and plenty of room for owners to chill. Clean, safe, and so much fun! A must-visit for dog lovers!" Was our 1st time today and we will be coming back
Spent an hour here with our 2 dogs, they had a good time. Newer park and well kept. Highly recommended.
