Jack Mundey Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Eastlakes where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs and toilets nearby. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. This venue is not listed on the Bayside Council off-leash dog areas page; off-leash use is not authorised here.
Simply a beautiful reserve. While toilets would make it complete, you at least have the option of going to the nearby shopping centre. It has children's playground, bear statues, mosaic masterpiece, BBQ facility, benches and tables, plenty of open green space and a small basketball net post. I noticed that the N-E tip area is prone to mosquitoes. It seems to be the hub of the surrounding community. Every weekend I see large groups of people enjoying it. Compared to other reserves in area it appears much better looked after.
Love the kids' playground area, but to get to the toilets you have definitely get into the nearby shopping centre, unfortunately😕.
It's great that there is a park dedicated to the great Jack Mundey. But it is such a pity that kids who get to use this park have no idea that they probably wouldn't even HAVE the parks made for them, if it wasn't for Jack.
This place is amazing. I've had many memories in Eastlake Reserve since I was 5 years old(I'm now fifteen). I remember playing many soccer matches, celebrating wonderful birthday parties and playing around with water balloons. Overall, I highly recommend anyone to come to this park with friends and family, because this is the best place to enjoy together.☀😊☺😊☀🏃🚹🚺
