Been here a few times over the years. Always a positive experience. Burgers are simple, yet great in all the ways it matters. Chips are crispy. Beer and wine taplist is always top notch. Great serving staff. Outdoor area is super nice. Highly recommend this one
Had the chicken schnitzel lunch special at the Iron Duke today and was genuinely impressed. At $16, it’s excellent value and the quality exceeded my expectations for a pub meal. The schnitzel was cooked well with a nice crunch, and the portion was satisfying. I was surprised the place wasn’t busier given how good the deal is. They run three lunch specials Monday to Friday from 11am–3pm: chicken schnitzel ($16), grilled chicken burger ($14), and a chicken or halloumi salad ($15). All very reasonably priced. The pub itself has a great atmosphere too—relaxed but with good energy. I can imagine it being a solid spot for after-work drinks. Will definitely be back.
This a great family owned pub, with excellent friendly service and delicious food. The family has owned Iron Duke since the 80’s.
Great selection of beers, the boys at the bar are so friendly there – there is one lady that is not great at customer service, it’s like she doesn’t want to be there. 😆 Also love that they have a garden area, feels cozy. Food is ok, they need more options for entrees, but other than that it’s ok. The steaks are definitely their forte, but the chicken parmi is too oily and saucy, and the gnocchi with veggies is a weird combination. Overall I recommend it!
Good quality of food. Clean environment. I must admit they make the best Linguine 😋 a menu here is changed quite often. I hope they keep Linguine... Please 🤪 ///Additional comment; Sunday roast is GREAT
