Was trying to find a cafe in Penrith area and the review was pretty good, so decided to try it. But was disappointed with the food and service. Ordered brisket burger and steak and bacon sandwich (special menu). Brisket was cut thin, and dry. The steak was also overcooked and tough. Though coffee was good. When we come, they're not full. A few tables outside and approx 3 tables inside were occupied. The waitress took our coffee order as soon as she gave us the menu. But, coffees didn't come until after they served the food, which is about 20-25 minutes. The decor looks nice with a back courtyard available for seating. When paying and asked how was it, told the waitress about the meat, and she removed one of the coffees ordered from the bill. Nice gesture, but I don't think we'll come back.
Cute little cafe in quiet location. Great service, coffee and food. We sat in the outdoor area surrounded by plants, which was a great vibe. Would highly recommend.
Finally tried out this little gem. Nice pleasant atmosphere and service was good . I ordered eggs bene with bacon and my daughter ordered the French toast . While I would've liked ny eggs little softer the meal was ok . My daughter said the French toast was ok . But definitely worth a visit
Absolutely loved it here just everything about this place was amazingly. The music, the staff, the good, the presentation just the whole place is nice. And I'm sorry if you're complaining about the wait as i have seen some 1 star reviews have you shouldn't be eating out then, just chill, take a chill pill and enjoy it.
I stopped by The Prairie Cafe in Penrith and had such a great experience! I ordered the iced mocha and avocado toast on sourdough — both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was smooth and refreshing, and the avo toast was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The ambience was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed — a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
