Sunrise Beach is a dog-friendly park in Soldiers Point. Just 350m away, Sunset Beach is a great nearby beach to visit with your dog.

Dog rules

All Council reserves that are not off-lead or prohibited are dog on-lead areas. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person by means of an adequate chain or leash at all times. You are not permitted to walk more than 4 dogs at any one time. Dog owners must remove all dog faeces — fines of $275 apply. Beach access was through the back of people's houses. We felt not very nice parking in that area so we park further. Sand was a bit dirty. It is relatively secluded area. Great location to watch sunrise. Close to the sunset beach.

Beautiful beach, clean and mangrove free but you may see a sting ray or two.
