Sunrise Beach is a dog-friendly park in Soldiers Point where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find parking nearby, while Restaurant 2317 is around 350 metres away for an easy post-walk drink.
All Council reserves that are not off-lead or prohibited are dog on-lead areas. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person by means of an adequate chain or leash at all times. You are not permitted to walk more than 4 dogs at any one time. Dog owners must remove all dog faeces — fines of $275 apply. Beach access was through the back of people's houses. We felt not very nice parking in that area so we park further. Sand was a bit dirty. It is relatively secluded area. Great location to watch sunrise. Close to the sunset beach.
The worst beach ever theirs toads in the water and the sand is mud and quick sand , my mum got stuck in the sand and nearly had a panic attack
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
