Pearson Park is a foreshore reserve where dogs are permitted on-leash under Port Stephens Council policy.
Dog rules
Dogs are permitted on-leash at Pearson Park. Dogs must remain under effective control on an adequate leash, with a maximum of four dogs per person. Dogs are not permitted within the playground or other prohibited areas. Remove all faeces.

Sadly there are far too many people who disregard the fact this park is “On leash” Please dont expect sympathy if your yapper gets eaten by my dog if theyre off leash and come up yapping at him.

Great place to watch the sun set over the water, one of the few places you can do that on the east coast. Thats way we call it sunset beach.
