The Cafe is a cafe in Shoal Bay. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 150m away, Shoal Bay Foreshore Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Staff and service here are 10/10. We asked for an ice long black with a bit more than “a dash of milk” and the lady gave us an extra coffee cup filled with milk in case my wife wanted extra. The best!
We ordered food for 3 and coffees and the total came up to $90. The chilli stack and smashed avo were $25 each and we received one piece of toast with them. Our iced chai lattes were extremely bland, could not taste the chai. Overall the food tasted nice but for the price and amount it was no where near worth it.
I’m leaving 1 star for the young gentleman taking our order, he was friendly. The rest was disappointing… it took 40 mins to wait for what looked like frozen fish and chips and a bacon crossoint.
The food was fresh, colourful & delicious, best meals we had all week while visiting the Bay. My partner had the essential breakfast - pouched eggs were cooked perfectly, fresh avocado and the bacon was crispy.. I had the mushroom bruschetta - AMAZING! I highly recommend if you like flavour & a variety of mushies. (The staff member recommended this as his favourite and it did not disappoint!!) The meals and service were so good, we went back for the same meals the next day!
The Cafe in Shoal Bay is a lovely and relaxing spot for breakfast or brunch, just a short walk from the beach. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour — we tried the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta, Beef Burger, and Peanut Butter Toast, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The mushroom bruschetta was especially impressive, with a perfect mix of earthy mushrooms, creamy feta, and balsamic glaze on crispy bread. The toast was simple but delicious, and the burger was juicy and well-balanced. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick, making the whole experience very pleasant. The cozy wooden tables and casual atmosphere create the perfect seaside vibe. A great place to start your day in Shoal Bay with good coffee, great food, and a peaceful view!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
