As Thick As Thieves

Sunday breakfast, we waited 30 minutes to get food, which is fair enough being busy....then after only 1h from sitting down they asked us to leave as there is another booking coming. Now, I understand it's hard times and they need to make as much money as possible so they have to turn tables around quickly, it's more than fair, but giving only 1h seating time to have breakfast? Without even mentioning it at booking time or at sitting time? That is not acceptable....we had to leave and go elsewhere. If you disclose these details beforehand it's fair enough, but all of a sudden being kicked out like that is not acceptable.

I wanted a small feed (mid-morning). Not a problem, okay to just select sides. I had grilled haloumi, avocado and a hash brown. Water and glasses already on the table (great idea). Lovely coffee and service. Place is a little noisy. I definitely want to go back to sample other items on the menu, especially after reading the past couple of reviews!

Awesome coffee and food. Staff are friendly. We ordered the breakfast wraps and added a hash brown. The wraps are huge, I could only eat half. The hash browns seem to be home made and are sooo good! Will definitely be returning.

I was visiting the area and so glad I stopped by this cafe! While the service was a bit slow, the food absolutely made up for it. I had the Pickpocket Sriracha Benedict with a homemade hash brown on the side—everything was just perfection. It was my first time trying crumbed poached eggs, and somehow the yolks were still beautifully runny. Instead of the usual English muffin, they serve it on roti bread, which adds such a unique texture (really love the hash brown too) and flavor. The whole dish was incredibly satisfying. I only wish we had something like this back home!
