We were visiting Albury and we made the longest walk from our accommodation to House of Ivy. Gave a great vibe as we entered in with the Hakuna Matata signage. We hoped it better be worth the long walk and it was!! Food was amazing, place was clean and the hospitality 10 on 10! My lil one wanted to use the bathroom half way through the breakfast, when I asked the stay I was told the closest one is at Myer shops. But later they came back saying we could use the staff toilets. Thank you so much for offering to use your resources- a little goes a long way. Coming to the food, kids loved their pancakes and cheese toastie. We adults had the omelet and sourdough toast with avocado, they were both very yummy, special mention on the avocado, finger licking good!

Super delicious, and great energy! I had the hot chocolate, and it was clearly made with real chocolate which was great. My friend had the omelet which was also apparently great! Would recommend for a relaxing morning brekkie.

We went here for lunch for a birthday. The service was amazing, with the owner and staff welcoming us warmly, and giving a humorous, personalised experience when we were looking at the menu and ordering. I had the special egg and bacon roll, which was 11 dollars, quite cheap for this quality. The bun was large, and yummy soft bread, the sauce was both tomato and bbq sauce, but was portioned perfectly as to not overpower the roll. The egg and bacon were both cooked perfectly, just to the degree that I like it, with my eggs slightly runny and bacon not too crunchy. This all, paired with the American cheese within, made for a delicious egg and bacon roll that was quite filling and pleasant. I coupled this with an Ice Chocolate, which had ice cream, cream, and ice. The drinks as delicious, with all portions being perfect, especially with the chocolate not being too overpowering as these drinks often are. My grandmother had a cheese and tomato croissant, which was toasted perfectly, and she said it was very fresh. She also had a berry smoothie, which I tried. It was, again, perfectly portioned, with the berry flavour not being too overpowering but still very fresh. The smoothie itself could've benefited from a couple of ice cubes to make it colder on this hot day, but all together it was a fresh, delicious lunch for all of us. My grandfather had a flat white, which he enjoyed with no complaints. A pleasant experience overall, and we would go again!!

We went to House of Ivy while we were visiting Albury. We wanted to have a good breakfast and we are glad that we found this location. The owner was so lovely and accommodating. We wanted to have a form if Indian tea ( Kadak Chai) and specially made it for us and also mentioned that if we needed something in particular she can make it for us if we were to call and make the order 1 hour in advance. The food was really amazing. Highly recommended

Had to wait 35 minutes for two coffees and nearly an hour for breakfast. Food arrived with no cutlery, and we then had to queue to request some, which took another five minutes. Food was cold by this time, but that aside, the bacon and toast were burnt regardless. Appreciative they are not a Maccas, the ‘25 minute’ wait sign was not accurate at all, even for the coffees! When we arrived, we also had to grab our own high chair for our son from under a counter, which also wasn’t clean, and plates were left dirty on the tables outside. A few other people complained too, and the guy behind the counter called one customer something inappropriate as the customer left. When we left, queues were out the door yet they still kept taking orders, despite not being able to keep up. Unprofessional and poor service unfortunately. Wasted both our time and money here, and definitely do not recommend.
