I walked on a summer Sunday morning. Starting at the Bowral swimming pool end. The Cherry Trees not in blossom at this time so photos not too spectacular. It’s an easy very pleasing walk on paved footpath. Good to take your dog for company. The path goes next the narrow Mittagong Creek. Stopped at the Vietnam War Memorial to pay my respects to those fallen which were many. The ultimate sacrifice for our country. Lest we forget.
The cherry trees at Cherry Tree Walk in Bowral have not bloomed. Most likely to bloom in 2-3 weeks time.
A pretty walk beside Mittagong creek. The cherry trees are getting tall and would be pretty spectacular during blossom season. The path is clean and easy to negotiate, perfect for little ones on bikes, or with prams or wheel chairs. There are plenty of access points and it does meander the valley for a km or 2. Lots of grass for picnics. There are memorials to Vietnam war veterans. There is also a cute bridge. Be careful It is slippery when wet.
It’s a very nice place. Me and my mum had a little walk along the cherry tree, was so chill and beautiful.
This was such a beautiful walk to do in Autumn with the reds and oranges in the trees! The walk was nice and relaxing and very accessible friendly as it is a slow winding path along a creek. Can’t wait to come back when the cherry blossoms begin to bloom!
