What people say
Off leash dog park with water and bowl and public toilet nearby. Came here with my 9 month old french bulldog who is very playful. There were other off leash dogs in the park and there were no issues and all other dog owners very friendly and conversational. Would come back if ever visiting Bowral again. There's also a playground outside the park. Good stuff!
Nice park but, 2 locals, older men, with 2 very active dogs, that they had no control over and didn't pay any attention to them whatsoever, they both knocked me off my feet and I fell to the ground and injured my ankle, back, neck and thumb, no one came anywhere near me, they couldn't give 2 hoots about their dogs or me being injured, my friend went to one owner and told him his dog injured me, he got his dog and left, the other man didn't care when told either, one of these dogs slobbered all over us and our dogs, we had to keep yelling at it to get away and we were continually pushing it away, all the while, the owner couldn't care less, again! Another dog bit my dog and made her Yelp and drew blood, which I had to yell at and kept pushing away as it kept trying to bite my dog, the female owner did come over and said, oh she's just a puppy 🤦♀️ she did ask if I was ok, but she wouldn't have if she didn't come to get her dog. I highly recommend NOT taking your dog here, for your own safety as well as your dogs.
Nice small dog park and a great sports field out the back. The play equipment is ageing and poses a risk to children’s safety, to be honest (think duct tape repairs to a steel crossbar). The treated timber has got to a point where it will fail with a decent load is placed on it.
We went to the Bowral dog park, it’s a fantastic place where the dogs have plenty of space to run around, the people are friendly and there’s plenty of seating. Always a favourite place to go to and our doggies love it.
Off leash dog park. Fully fenced. Check Double gated. Check Fresh water. Check Tidy bags. Check Seating and shade. Check Ticks all the boxes. Well done, Bowral.
